I teach to affirm that women of all ages/stages are strong, beautiful, and worthy of attention. Through Bellydance, Pilates, and general fitness classes I work to help women have fun moving and, in turn, adopt healthy lifestyle practices. I enjoy the challenge of finding modifications for everyone who wants to get a workout in and welcome women of all abilities in my classes. I hold certifications as a Group Fitness Instructor, a Kettlebell AMPD teacher, and more. I hope you choose to move with me!

Malik is lots of fun!
Malik is lots of fun! Her Moxie Boxing class is similar to a Zumba class in that you learn the moves as you go, punching and kicking to the beat of the music. Got a great workout in the 30-min session and thought it was a perfect way to sneak in a work-day workout without having to leave my home office. Her instructions were clear and she did correct my form when needed. She also easily modified the class for a lingering ankle injury I have, and you can pick between 2lb, 3lb, or no weights for many of the moves. Very good experience!
